The provisions of this Code shall apply to:
(a) All structures or portions thereof used, or designed or intended to be used, for human habitation and use currently in existence or hereafter constructed or created within the Municipality irrespective of when or under what code or codes such structure or portion thereof were originally constructed or subsequently improved or rehabilitated;
(b) All real estate occupied by a structure or portion thereof as described above;
(c) Alteration of existing buildings in order to conform with this Code; and
(d) Buildings or structures moved into or within the Municipality.
However, the provisions of this Code shall not be construed to prevent the enforcement of other ordinances or regulations which prescribe standards other than those provided herein. (Ord. 80-29L. Passed 7-1-80; Ord. 95-12L&R. Passed 5-2-95.)
