In residence districts, the curb cut for a driveway or the width of a driveway where it meets the street pavement, shall be a minimum of fifteen feet wide and there shall be at least six feet between adjacent curb cuts.
In business districts, curb cuts may vary between twelve feet and thirty feet. Cuts shall be separated by a minimum of twenty-eight feet. In no case shall over sixty percent of property frontage be used for driveway entrance.
The curb cut is intended to be six feet wider than the driveway in order to allow rounding off each side with a ninety-degree arc of a three-foot radius.
No curb cut shall extend closer than two feet to any utility pole, fire plug, manhole, inlet, catch basin or similar obstruction.
It is not necessary to actually cut rolling type curbs, but the above restrictions apply to the driveway where it meets the street pavement.
