(a) No owner or occupant of abutting lands shall fail to keep the sidewalks, curbs or gutters in repair and free from snow, ice or any nuisance. (ORC 723.011)
(b) Owners of abutting property in all cases where sidewalks have been constructed in front of their premises pursuant to ordinances shall keep the sidewalks free from accumulations of mud, snow or ice. No owner of abutting property shall allow any dirt, mud, ice or snow either resulting from sliding earth, overflow or otherwise, to remain upon the sidewalk fronting his premises for a longer period than twenty-four hours. If the nuisance is continued after notice or first citation, each succeeding twenty-four hours shall constitute a new and separate offense.
(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
