331.37 DRIVING UPON SIDEWALKS, STREET LAWNS, CURBS OR PARK LAND.
   (a)   No person shall drive any motorized vehicle, motorized bicycle, electric bicycle, or moped, other than a bicycle, upon a sidewalk or sidewalk area, including sidewalks in a park, except upon a permanent or duly authorized temporary driveway. These restrictions do not apply to a toy vehicle with or without a motor, when operated by a child.
   (b)   No person shall drive a motorized vehicle, motorized bicycle or moped on a street lawn area, the curb of a street, a planting strip, or on any other type of public land, except upon a permanent or duly authorized temporary driveway or when otherwise lawfully authorized in writing by the Village of Greenhills.
   (c)   Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. If, within one year of the offense, the offender previously has been convicted of or pleaded guilty to one predicate motor vehicle or traffic offense, whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. If, within one year of the offense, the offender previously has been convicted of two or more predicate motor vehicle or traffic offenses, whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
