§ 73.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Misdemeanor to violate the provisions of this chapter. It is a misdemeanor for any person to do any act forbidden or fail to perform any act required in this chapter. The parent of any child and the guardian of any ward shall not authorize or knowingly permit any such child or ward to violate any of the provisions of this chapter. These regulations applicable to bicycles shall apply whenever a bicycle is operated on any street or on those exceptions stated herein.

   (B)   Penalty. Every person convicted of a violation of any provision of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not more than $10 or by removal and detention of the license plate from such person’s bicycle for a period not to exceed 90 days or both.
