Members of the Fire Department shall be physically capable persons residing within the county, a county that is contiguous to the county, or a county that is noncontiguous to the county but is not more than 50 miles from the closest boundary of Center Township, the county, state determination of whether candidates for appointment as members are physically capable shall be made after a medical and physical examination has been made.
