§ 156.58 REAL ESTATE SIGNS.
   Real estate signs shall be permitted in all zoning districts as follows:
   (A)   For sale/for rent/for lease signs. For sale/for rent/for lease signs shall be permitted on any property provided that they not exceed six square feet in area, and they advertise a sale, rental, or lease of the premises on which the sign is located. The signs shall not be located within any street right-of-way and shall be located only on the property for sale, rent, or lease.
   (B)   Open house signs. Open house signs shall not exceed six square feet in area and may be used for directions to the open house event only. An open house sign shall be erected no more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled event and shall be removed within one hour of the end of the event. Signs shall be erected only on private property and only with the consent of the owner.
   (C)   Directional signs. Directional signs shall not exceed six square feet in area and may be used for directions to a property for sale only. Directional signs shall be erected no more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled event and shall be removed within one hour of the end of the event. Signs shall be erected only on private property and only with the consent of the owner.
   (D)   Sold signs. Sold signs may be erected in place of the for sale signs as permitted herein. The sold sign shall be removed by the listing realtor within ten days after the date of closing.
