Accessible parking requirements. In business districts, or planned developments that are intended for business use, or multi-family housing units, parking spaces for disabled people shall be provided as indicated on the following table:

NOTES TO TABLE:
An additional parking space must be provided for each home occupation conducted on residential premises.
A church or temple requiring parking area, at times when nearby uses do not need their parking facilities, may, by agreement approved by the Board of Zoning Appeals, utilize those facilities in lieu of providing their own parking facilities.
Includes all categories and sub-categories of use as listed in Table 1 (Appendix A), unless the category or sub-category is otherwise specifically provided for here in Table 4 (Appendix D).
Vehicle parking requirements shall not apply in a block 50% or more of the area of which was occupied by business or industrial structures as of 3-5-1957.
Vehicle parking requirements may be waived by the Board of Zoning Appeals in a block 50% or more of the area of which was occupied by business or industrial structures as of 3-15-1957.
Each required parking space herein shall be a minimum of 9 feet wide by 20 feet long.
Parking and loading requirements shall meet all Federal ADA standards. Handicap accessible parking spaces shall be located to provide the shortest, most convenient handicap accessible route to access the building entrance.
