§ 112.16 REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE REQUIRED; CARRYING AND DISPLAY.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any peddler or itinerant merchant to solicit, sell, or offer for sale any commodity to any person within the corporate limits of the city without first having registered with the Clerk-Treasurer and having been issued a registration certificate, except as provided in § 112.17.

   (B)   Every registrant shall carry his or her registration certificate with him or her at all times while engaged in selling or soliciting and shall, when so required, either by an officer or a private person with whom the registrant is, or is attempting to, conduct business, produce and show the person or officer the registration certificate.
