§ 153.046 SURVEYS BY FIRE AND PUBLIC SERVICE DEPARTMENTS; NONCOMPLIANCE; ENFORCEMENT.
   (A)   The Fire Department shall survey, from time to time, business, commercial, industrial and multi-family structures in the city, to ensure compliance with this chapter. The Director of Public Service or his or her designee shall survey, from time to time, one- and two-family residential structures in the city to ensure compliance with this subchapter.
   (B)   No person shall fail to identify, within 180 days after the effective date of this subchapter, any house, building or other structure occupied by him or her, as provided in § 153.045.
   (C)   A notice shall be mailed to each addressee who fails to comply with this subchapter. Failure to so comply within a 30-day period following the mailing of such notice shall be deemed a violation of this subchapter, punishable as provided in § 153.999.
   (D)   The Fire Chief or his or her designee is empowered to determine the existence of any violations of this subchapter at business, commercial, industrial or multi-family structures in the city and to cause notifications and citations to be issued, or to initiate such other administrative or legal actions as are needed to address such violations. The Director of Public Service or his or her designee is empowered to determine the existence of any violations of this subchapter at one- and two-family residential structures in the city, and to cause notifications and citations to be issued, or to initiate such other administrative or legal actions as are needed to address such violations.
