§ 34.051 RESPONSIBILITIES.

   (A)   The Beautification Commission shall be responsible for recommendations to Council and organization of the following programs:

      (1)   Decisions dealing with the Keep Green Beautiful program;

      (2)   Clean-up and litter programs;

      (3)   Flower plantings, except in city parks;

      (4)   General beautification projects; and

      (5)   Such other duties as required by law or executive order.

   (B)   The Commission shall also make recommendations to the Mayor and Council for additional legislation or programs to create a more beautiful city.

   (C)   The Beautification Commission shall have no spending authority.
