(A) Every dwelling unit shall contain or have access to, a room separate from the habitable rooms, which affords privacy and which is equipped with a flush water closet and a lavatory basin properly connected to city water and sewer systems, or other equivalent methods of water supply and sewage disposal properly installed and approved by the Inspector. The lavatory basin shall be connected to both hot and cold running water.
(B) Every dwelling unit shall contain or have access to a room separate from the habitable room which affords privacy to either a bathtub or a shower properly connected to city water and sewer systems, or other equivalent methods of water supply and sewage disposal properly installed and approved by the Inspector.
(C) The equipment described in subsections (D) and (E) may be provided separately as described in those subsections, or all together in the same room.
(D) The occupants of not more than two (2) dwelling units may share a single flush water closet and lavatory basin connected as described in subsection (A), a bathtub or shower connected as described in subsection (B), or the facilities described in subsections (A) and (B), or subsection (C) provided:
(1) The habitable area of neither dwelling unit contains more than three hundred (300) feet of floor area;
(2) A person is designated to clean and does clean the toilet and lavatory, and/or bathing facilities at least once every twenty-dour (24) hours; and
(3) Access to the common facilities shall be made available to the common facilities through a public hall or other public way. Under no circumstances shall the access be provided through another dwelling unit.
(E) Every dwelling unit shall contain a kitchen sink properly connected to both hot and cold running water and properly connected to the city water and sewage system, or other equivalent method of water supply and sewage disposal properly installed and approved by the Inspector.
(F) Every dwelling unit shall be supplied with an adequate garbage storage facility and adequate rubbish storage facilities, the type and location of which to be approved by the Inspector.
(G) Every dwelling unit shall have safe, unobstructed dual means of egress leading to safe and open space at ground level, as required by the laws of the Commonwealth.
