§ 40.355   LOST, STOLEN, OR DESTROYED LICENSE STICKERS
   If any vehicle license sticker has been purchased and is lost, misplaced, stolen, or destroyed, the owner may purchase a classification sticker from the City Clerk and it must be displayed on the motor vehicle for which a license sticker had been purchased. Any person, firm, partnership, corporation, or association in possession of or displaying a license sticker which was not purchased and any person, firm, partnership, corporation, or association, through misrepresentation, who knowingly permit any other person to use or display a license sticker and/or classification sticker on a motor vehicle, other than the one for which it was purchased shall be subject to the provisions of § 40.999.
