(A) Any construction, zoning change or conditional use permit occurring after the effective date of this chapter in any non-single family residential zone in the city shall screen parking areas according to the following requirements.
(1) On any area adjacent to any residential zone, any parking area shall be screened using a seven-foot wooden privacy fence with the finished side facing the residential zones, or be screened by a double faced type of wooden privacy fence.
(2) Landscape berms and vegetative screening approved by the city shall be provided on any area adjacent to any residential zone.
(3) There shall be no lighting in any parking area adjacent to any residential zone on poles higher than seven feet. All lighting shall be pointed down and away from any residential zone.
(B) There shall be no parking in any required front or side yards of any development after the effective date of this chapter.
