§ 150.26 ENFORCEMENT.
   (A)   Duties of The Citation Officer. The Citation Officer, with the assistance of the officials of other departments of the city and county having jurisdiction, is hereby authorized and directed to enforce all the provisions of this subchapter and to review plans and specifications, to conduct inspections, and to perform such other services as may be necessary to execute the provisions of this subchapter.
   (B)   Right of entry. Upon representation of his/her official credentials, the Citation Officer or his/her deputies may enter during reasonable hours any premises covered by this subchapter to perform the duties imposed upon the Citation Officer by this subchapter.
   (C)   Stop orders. Upon notice from the Citation Officer that any use of property is being maintained contrary to the provisions of this subchapter, such use shall be stopped immediately. Such notice shall be in writing and shall be given to the owner of the property or the owner’s agent, or to the person so using the property, and shall state specifically the regulation being violated. The notice may be given by registered mail to the person so using the property after two reasonable efforts personally to serve the notice have failed.
   (D)   Citations. Any person or entity who fails to stop use immediately as required by division (C) of this section shall be issued a citation for such violation pursuant to the provisions of KRS 100.991. Any person or entity who violates the provisions of this subchapter shall be issued a citation for such violation pursuant the provisions of KRS 100.991.
