SECTION 9.04. CANDIDATES FOR COUNCIL.
   Any qualified voter who is eligible to vote in the primary election may file a petition with the Board of Elections for a candidate for Council (See Sections 2.02 and 2.03). Such petition shall be signed by not less than twenty-five qualified voters. An elector may sign the petitions of more than one Council candidate.
   The number of candidates receiving the highest number of votes for the number of vacancies on the Council shall be elected. Except as otherwise provided in the Charter, such election shall be conducted in accordance with Title 35 of the Ohio Revised Code, and as such title may be hereafter amended. (Amended 11-8-11)
