1733.15 PROHIBITED ACTS.
   (a)    Working Without Registration Certificate. No person shall engage in the business of erecting, altering, repairing or maintaining projecting signs, ground signs, roof signs, wall signs, post signs, or globe signs without having been registered as provided under Section 1733.02 .
   (b)    Working Without Erection Permit. No person shall commence or proceed with any operation included under or regulated by the provisions of this article, without first having obtained an erection permit.
   (c)    Work Not In Accordance With Permit. No person shall erect a sign or other structure regulated by this article in a manner contrary to the provisions of this article or not in accordance with the permit issued, as shown on application and plans filed with the Code Enforcement Officer.
   (d)    Repair, Alteration or Relocation of Sign Without Permit. No person shall repair, alter or move to a new location any sign or other structure regulated by this article without first having obtained an erection permit for such repairs, alterations or relocation, which permit shall be granted only on condition that such sign or other structure be made to comply with the provisions of this article. Replacement of electric bulbs and other minor adjustments shall not be considered repairs or alteration within the meaning of this subsection.
   (e)    Nonabatement of Dangerous Condition. No person shall maintain any sign or other structure regulated by this article when the same has been declared unsafe or dangerous by the Code Enforcement Officer.
   (f)    Failure to Renew Permit. No owner of any sign or other structure regulated by this article shall maintain such sign or structure without having complied with the provisions of Section 1733.04 (e) within thirty days after June 30 of each succeeding year.
   (g)    Removal of Signs of Businesses That Have Ceased Doing Business. No owner of any sign or other structure regulated by this article shall maintain such sign or structure advertising any business or commercial venture that ceases to do business. Any such sign or other structure regulated by this article shall be removed on or before sixty days after any such commercial venture or business ceases. If the owner of the sign or structure fails to comply with the requirements hereof, within the sixty-day period, the owner of the property on which the sign or structure is located shall, within thirty days of receipt of notice from the Code Enforcement Officer, cause the removal of the sign or structure.
