Any person convicted of: a speeding violation between one and twenty nine (29) miles per hour over the speed limit, disobeying a stop sign, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage, following too closely, tinted windows or loud exhaust in violation of any section of this chapter shall be fined not less than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00), nor more than five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) for any one offense. Any person convicted of failure to have valid insurance or speeding over thirty (30) miles per hour over the speed limit shall be fined not less than five hundred dollars ($500.00), nor more than five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) for any one offense. Any person convicted of a violation of any other section of this chapter shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00), nor more than five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) for any one offense. In addition to any fines, any person convicted of a violation of any section of this chapter may be incarcerated in the Kankakee County Jail for a period not to exceed three hundred sixty four (364) days.
