7-3-7: TAPPING LINES; EXCAVATIONS:
   (A)   After agreement with, and payment of all the aforementioned fees for connection, and the approval of the Board, the applicant may, at his expense, make all excavations and place pipes, drains and other necessary materials preparatory to the actual connections to the Village sewerage system lines. All materials must be free from defects and shall conform to the requirements of the American Society for Testing and Materials.
   (B)   Upon approval by the Village inspector of all excavations and materials, the applicant may, at his expense, cause a tap to be made to the Village sewerage system lines. The tap to the storm sewer lines may be made only by a person or persons authorized and appointed by the Village to make such taps.
   (C)   Upon approval of all taps to the Village sewer lines, the applicant shall cause, at his expense, all excavations to be restored to their original conditions. Backfills must be made of sand or stone screening and after being approved, the deposit under section 7-3-5 of this chapter shall be refunded. (Ord. O-4-16-1, 4-4-2016)
