7-2-3: PERMISSION TO REMOVE:

No person, except in compliance with this Chapter, shall cut, fell, injure or remove any shade or other tree standing in or upon any street, avenue, sidewalk or public ground in the Village, unless by the authority of the Board of Trustees, under penalty of this Chapter. (R.O. 1974, Sec. 16.1.4)
