Any person owning or having control of any lot, land or parcel of ground adjoining or abutting any public street or avenue in the Village may plant trees nine feet (9') from the lot line adjoining on any street or avenue within the Village. (R.O. 1974, Sec. 16.1.1)
Any person who shall plant in any street or avenue of the Village any tree or shrub further from or at a less distance than nine feet (9') from the lots lines along any public street or avenue in the Village shall be fined under this Chapter for every tree or shrub permitted to remain after notice to remove the same has been given by the Street Commissioner, the President of the Board or by any one of the Trustees of the Village.
