5-1-36: POSSESSION OF CANNABIS:

(A) Definition: The term "cannabis" shall have the meaning ascribed to it in section 3 of the cannabis control act, 720 Illinois Compiled Statutes 550/1 et seq., as if that definition were incorporated herein.

(B) Possession: It is unlawful for any person knowingly to possess cannabis. Any person who possesses not more than 2.5 grams of cannabis shall be guilty of the offense of possession of cannabis. (Ord. 11-09-06-2, 9-6-2011)
