5-1-3: KILLING BIRDS:
Whoever shall kill, wound or attempt to kill or wound any bird by any means, except pigeons or the starling and English sparrow, within the village limits, or whoever shoots any arrow, stone or other shot or throws a club or other missile at any bird within the confines of any private or public ground or street, or whatever shall enter upon any private enclosure or public ground for the purpose of doing any act prohibited by this section shall be fined as set forth in section 1-4-1 of this code for each offense.
