(A) Garage sales and/or yard sales of any personal property, merchandise, or other property by individuals shall be limited to no more than three (3) sales per calendar year. A garage and/or yard sale may consist of up to a consecutive Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The village authorities shall be and are hereby empowered to vote to allow for garage sales and/or yard sales during community events.
(B) Individuals or entities holding a garage and/or yard sale shall inform the village hall at least seven (7) days in advance of their intent to do so, with the location and the hours of the sale.
(C) Failure to follow the notice provisions and limitations of this section shall be punishable by a per diem fine of fifty dollars ($50.00) to a five hundred dollar ($500.00) fine (Ord. 05-08-01-1, 8-1-2005)
