No person, firm or corporation shall conduct raffles or chances without first having obtained a license therefor pursuant to the raffles act, 230 Illinois Compiled Statutes 15/1 et seq. All raffles licenses shall be issued by the village clerk only to bona fide religious, charitable, labor, business, fraternal, educational, or veteran's organizations. (Ord. 06-02-03-1, 6-2-2003)
