§ 10.21 VENUE IN CRIMINAL CASES.

(A) Yellow Medicine County offenses. Criminal offenses that occur within that portion of the City of Granite Falls that lies within Yellow Medicine County and over which the Yellow Medicine County Attorney is the prosecuting authority shall be venued in Yellow Medicine County.

(B) Chippewa County offenses. Criminal offenses that occur within that portion of the City of Granite Falls that lies within Chippewa County and over which the Chippewa County Attorney is the prosecuting authority shall be venued in Chippewa County.

(C) Granite Falls City offenses. Criminal offenses that occur within the City of Granite Falls and over which the City of Granite Falls Attorney's Office is the prosecuting attorney shall be venued in Yellow Medicine County.
