A combined Public Transit and City Forestry Department is hereby established. The head of this Department shall be known as the Public Transit Coordinator/City Forester. It is the duty of the Public Transit Coordinator/City Forester to operate both a public transit system and a forestry department within the city. The Department head shall have the custody of all property of the Department, shall be responsible for preparing all necessary reports and records, and perform other miscellaneous duties, of whatever nature, as may be assigned from time to time by the City Manager. The Public Transit Coordinator/City Forester shall be appointed by the City Manager.
