Purposes of this billboard chapter are to encourage the effective use of billboards as a means of communication within the city and to the traveling public; to maintain and enhance the environment along the U.S. Highway 95 corridor on the western side of the city of Grangeville and within the city generally, and to minimize the possible adverse effects of billboards on or nearby public and private property and to enable the fair and consistent enforcement of these billboard regulations.
