The following words and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them:
ALLEY: That thoroughfare which intersects blocks of the City at the rear of lots of said blocks or transverses blocks between regularly established streets.
BUSINESS DISTRICT: The Business District as defined in section 10-5-1 of this Code.
PARK OR PARKING: The standing of a vehicle, whether occupied or not, other than temporarily for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading property or passengers.
PRIVATE ROAD OR DRIVEWAY: Every way or place in private ownership and used for vehicular travel by the owner and those having expressed or implied permission from the owner but not by other persons.
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT: The territory contiguous to and including a way not comprising a business district. (Ord. 832, 9-4-2007)
