8-3-7: REMOVAL OF TREES:
   A.   Property owners may remove trees from the public right of way which abuts their property at their own expense after first receiving approval from the City Council of their intended action. Furthermore, property owners may be required to remove trees on the public right of way abutting their property if those trees are deemed a hazard or dangerous to the public or other public or private property.
   B.   All owners of property who own property adjacent to the public right of way upon which are located existing trees shall have the financial obligation for the care of those trees adjacent to their property and on the public right of way. Such financial responsibility shall include disease control, insect infestation, pruning or trimming, and removal if necessary. (Ord. 630, 7-15-1991)
