A. Designated: The Bank of Central Idaho, Grangeville, Idaho, and the First Security Bank of Idaho, Grangeville Branch, N.A., Grangeville, Idaho, are hereby designated as the official depositories for Municipal funds. (Ord. 324, 6-11-1959)
B. Demand Funds: Pursuant to Idaho Code 50-1013, the City Clerk/Treasurer be and is hereby authorized to deposit all demand funds of the City in such qualified depository or depositories as defined by Idaho Code title 57, chapter 1, as shall be determined by the City Council by competitive bidding or other means generally accepted as a standard business practice, all as authorized by Idaho Code 57-128.
Prior to and until a depository or depositories shall be designated by the City Council, pursuant to Idaho Code 57-128, the City Clerk/Treasurer be and is hereby authorized to continue the existing practice of keeping City money deposited with each designated depository within the City or within Idaho County in such proportion of the total deposits of the City as capital and the surplus of each depository bears to the total capital and surplus of all designated depositories within the City or Idaho County.
