§ 10-7-5 FREESTANDING ON-PREMISES ADVERTISING SIGN LOCATION RESTRICTIONS.
   (A)   Freestanding on-premises advertising signs are permitted only in areas of the village which meet all of the following conditions:
      (1)   The applicable zoning classification is C;
      (2)   The sign located within the North Grand Avenue Corridor; and
      (3)   The zoning lot on which the sign is located borders directly on the right-of-way of Illinois North Grand Avenue.
   (B)   Freestanding on-premises advertising signs located within the North Grand Avenue Corridor are subject to the following additional regulations:
      (1)   It may have only one face in each direction. Faces may not be stacked. No freestanding on- premises advertising sign shall have a total signage area, including all faces on both sides, exceeding 150 square feet;
      (2)   The top of the sign may not be more than 30 feet above the surface of the lot; and
      (3)   A freestanding on-premises advertising signs shall be so designed and located such that its primary audience is the traveling public on North Grand Avenue.
