The use of those streets and alleys on which appropriate signs have been placed by the village prohibiting the operation of trucks or other commercial vehicles, or imposing limitations as to the weight thereof, is restricted as designated by the signs, and no vehicle shall be driven on any such street or alley in violation of the prohibition or limitation indicated by the signs.
