§ 72.04 REQUIRED EQUIPMENT.
   (A)   To be operated in the village street during a special event, a non-highway vehicle shall have the following equipment, in good working condition, at all times:
      (1)   Brakes;
      (2)   Steering wheel;
      (3)   Four tires, except for all-terrain vehicles which may have three or four tires;
      (4)   Rearview mirror;
      (5)   Red, reflectorized warning devices on the front and rear;
      (6)   Slow moving emblem as required by 625 ILCS 5/12-709 attached to the rear;
      (7)   Headlight that emits a white light visible from a distance of 500 feet to the front;
      (8)   Tail lamp that emits a red light visible from at least 100 feet from the rear;
      (9)   Brake lights; and
      (10)   Turn signals.
   (B)   Non-highway vehicles not equipped with head lamps and tail lamps shall not be permitted on village streets between one-half hour before sunset and one-half hour after sunrise.
