§ 50.04 WATER TAP CHARGES.
   (A)   (1)   There be and hereby is adopted a water tap-in charge according to the following schedule:
         (a)   Three-quarter inch by one-inch tap with five-eighths by three-quarter water meter size: $3,244.39; and
         (b)   Additional costs for a meter pit installation: $521.
      (2)   The fees for tapping into the water line given herein are estimates of village costs to provide service to the average domestic single-family residence. No reduction of the fee shall be allowed for any reason. Nor will the village guarantee that the village costs to provide the service will equal the fee collected on any individual service installation.
      (3)   The fees stated herein shall apply to all service connections to the water system within the village corporation. A water tap outside the village corporation shall be charged 50% surcharge added to the effective tap fee. All expenses in excess of the fee stated herein and incurred by the village shall be billed and collected at the actual cost thereof.
   (B)   Larger service lines and meters shall be charged any additional materials and labor costs. Said fees are subject to changes as influenced by the costs of labor and/or materials.
   (C)   Before providing water service to an unincorporated area, the owner shall enter into an agreement for annexation when the property for which the improvements service becomes contiguous to the village. This agreement shall be approved as to form by the Village Solicitor and recorded at the County Recorder’s office at the owner’s expense.
   (D)   The rates hereby established shall be effective and shall be paid in full with each application made by each person after the date of passage of the ordinance from which this section is derived.
