246.01 ON-DUTY AND OFF-DUTY RESPONSIBILITIES.

(a) All members of the Volunteer Fire Department are hereby required to fight fires, seek to preserve life, limb and property and do anything necessary thereto, whether or not they are officially on a fire call.

(b) The requirements set forth in division (a) of this section shall extend to all members of the Department while in the Village or while in a neighboring jurisdiction with which the Village has a mutual aid agreement.
