1026.07   MOVING OF TREES; CASH DEPOSIT; BOND; AUTHORIZATION BY COUNCIL.
All moving of trees upon any public place in the Village, made necessary because of the moving of a building or structure or any other private enterprise, shall be done under the supervision of the Council and at the expense of the applicant. Such applicant, as one of the conditions of obtaining a permit to remove such trees, shall deposit with the Village such sum, in cash, as the Council may specify to cover the cost of moving and replacing such tree if the condition of such permit requires the replacement thereof. However, in lieu of such cash deposit, the Council may accept a good and sufficient bond in like amount conditioned upon the payment of the cost of such moving and replacing. However, if any such project involves the moving or removal of ten or more trees, authorization to proceed must first be obtained from Council.
