(a) In order to properly number, by streets, the properties located in the Village, the streets which have been established are hereby established as they appear on the Street Number Map of the Village of Grafton. Such Map and all notations, references and other information shown thereon shall be considered a part of this section as if fully written and described herein. From and after the effective date of this chapter (Ordinance 308, passed September 27, 1938), numbers shall be placed on buildings located on property in the Village in accordance with and under the plan designated on such Map. Such numbers shall be placed on such buildings by persons owning or occupying such buildings.
(b) No person shall place a number upon any building in the Village except in accordance with such Map.
