(a) The sponsor of or person responsible for any public entertainment held in the Village, including, but not limited to, shows, expositions, displays and carnivals, shall maintain public liability insurance covering any and all claims for personal injury or property damage sustained by any person through the negligence of the sponsor or his or her agents and assigns, or those participating in such public entertainment.
(b) The policy limits of the liability insurance provided for in subsection (a) hereof shall be one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for a single personal injury; three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for personal injury to one or more individuals; and fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for damage to property.
(c) Before any public entertainment may be held in the Village, the sponsor of or person responsible for such public entertainment shall present absolute proof of such liability insurance coverage to the office of the Mayor.
