All utilities shall, for their use of the public streets, public properties and public rights-of-way of the city under the terms of this chapter, agree to save the city harmless from all loss sustained by the city on account of any suit, judgement, execution, claim or demand whatsoever, resulting from negligence on the part of the utilities in their use of the public streets, public properties and public rights-of-way of the city, in accordance with the terms of this chapter.
