§ 92.36 SAFETY INSPECTIONS; REMEDYING UNSAFE CONDITIONS.
   (A)   The City Fire Chief, Building Inspector, Electrical Inspector, Police Chief or the other appropriate official as may be designated by the city, shall have the power and it shall be the official's duty to examine and inspect all appliances, fixtures and equipment located within or on the public streets, public properties and public rights-of-way pursuant to this chapter.
   (B)   Whenever the appliance, fixture or equipment is found to be unsafe or unfit for the purpose intended, the person using, possessing or maintaining same shall be notified and shall be required to place same in a safe condition.
