Any violation of the statutes adopted by reference in § 130.01 is a violation of § 130.01 when it occurs within the city. Any person thus violating any provision of § 130.01 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not to exceed $300, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period of not to exceed 90 days, or both; but, if a minimum or maximum fine or imprisonment is prescribed by the Criminal Code of 1963 for such an offense, the penalty shall apply to a person convicted of the same offense under § 130.01, subject to the foregoing limits.
