There is hereby established the Building Hazard Abatement Fund as recognized by Chapter 1341 (Ordinance No. 2019-4, An Ordinance Establishing Obligations of Owners of Vacant Buildings). The licensing and application fees for vacant buildings received by the Village shall be deposited to such Fund and may be appropriated from time to time to offset the cost of enforcement and/or to allow the Village to intervene when such building is declared to be a nuisance to appropriately secure such property to preserve the public health, safety and welfare.
