(a) All checks received for the payment of taxes, administrative fees, including but not limited to building permits, solicitor’s licenses, swimming pool memberships, hall rentals and those checks accepted by the Traffic Violations Bureau or Mayor’s Court for the payment of penalties or fines which are returned from the payor’s bank for any reason, shall be charged twenty-five dollars ($25.00) to the payor in addition to the fee, penalty or fine already assessed by the Village.
(b) A notice shall be posted in a conspicuous place throughout the Municipal Building and Swimming Pool complex and such other places where checks are accepted by the Village, specifically notifying all parties that they will be charged an additional twenty-five dollars ($25.00) processing fee for any check accepted by the Village which is returned from the payor’s bank for nonpayment.
