(a) A Fund titled Drug Offender Fines is hereby established to enable the Village to receive mandatory fines imposed upon felony drug traffic offenders and forfeited bail from such offenders pursuant to Ohio R.C. 2925.03 and to expend funds in furtherance of law enforcement efforts that pertain to drug offenders and drug law enforcement.
(b) The Mayor and the Chief of Police are authorized to make expenditures from the Fund for any lawful purpose which is consistent with the purposes for which the Fund is established. Such expenditures may only be drawn upon the signature of the Clerk-Treasurer.
