(a) The cutting down of curbs to meet the grade of driveway aprons shall be done in accordance with the following requirements:
(1) Exposed surfaces of curbs so cut down shall be ground smooth.
(2) Aprons constructed in the business and industrial zones of the Village shall be of the same specifications as the adjoining street. Existing sidewalk shall be removed to make way for such aprons.
(3) In the business and industrial zones of the Village, no curb cut for the driveway aprons shall exceed thirty-five feet in width.
(4) In the business and industrial zones no curb cut for an apron shall be made closer than eight feet from an adjoining apron. If any such aprons are on adjacent properties then eight feet shall be divided equally upon each property.
(b) Sidewalk and apron repair shall be done under the supervision of the Street Commissioner in accordance with standard specifications.
