(a) If a resident of the Village has posted outside their residence a sign stating “no soliciting”, it shall be a violation of this chapter for anyone to solicit at that residence.
(b) Similarly, if any resident of the Village has provided notice to the Police Department that they do not desire any soliciting at their residence, it shall be a violation of this chapter for anyone to solicit at that residence. A list of residents and their addresses who desire that soliciting not be permitted at their residence shall be provided to the solicitor when he applies at the Police Department for a license to solicit.
