§ 71.06 SPEED LIMIT.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any vehicle on the streets of the city at a rate of speed in excess of 20 miles per hour in the business district of the city, or in excess of 25 miles per hour in the residential district of the city; provided, however, this provision shall not apply to those streets which are a part of the state highway system and are maintained by the state, nor to streets or portions of streets where a different speed limit is prescribed.
