(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to park any commercial truck (as defined in § 72.01) upon a public street, alley, parkway, boulevard, highway or public place within or adjacent to an area zoned for residential uses.
(B) It is a defense to an offense of this section that the person parking the commercial vehicle regularly parked the vehicle at their residential property before the passage of this section by ordinance of the city council. This defense only applies to the parking of a semi-tractor, no trailer or combination. The semi-tractor must be uncoupled. And, this defense only applies to a single semi-tractor, not multiple. This defense does not apply to a subsequent owner of the same residential property, nor does this defense apply to the same person, if they move from the property to another within the city. And this defense does not apply to a person who moves away, and then moves back to the city at a later time.
(C) This section does not apply to the vehicles and uses provided in § 72.02(b).
