A. Appointments: All appointive officials of the village shall be appointed by the village president, by and with the advice and consent of the village board of trustees. (1978 Code § 1-6-2)
B. Terms Of Office: The terms of office of all village officials shall be as the village president and board of trustees may determine by ordinance, and until their successors are appointed and have qualified. (1978 Code § 1-6-3)
C. Vacancies In Office: Vacancies occurring before the end of any term of any village office shall be filled as in the case of the original appointment and as set forth in this section. In any event, such official shall serve until his successor shall have been duly appointed and qualified. (1978 Code § 1-6-4)
